DECLARATION OF FAITH

SECTION A - THE INSPIRATION OF THE SCRIPTURES

We believe that the Bible is the Word inspired by God, that this inspiration is divine, verbal and plenary, which is a revelation of God to man, and, therefore, our indisputable, infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct, and which is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Timothy 3: 15-17; 1 Peter 2: 2; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

SECTION B - THE ONLY AND TRUE GOD

We believe in a unique and true God who has revealed himself to man as the "I Am" who has always existed for eternity, who has also revealed himself as a Triune God, manifested in three persons, namely, Father, Son and Holy Spirit . (Deuteronomy 6: 4, Mark 12:29, Isaiah 43:10, 11, Matthew 28:19)

SECTION C - FALLEN MAN AND REDEMPTION

We believe that man was created in the image of God, good and honest. However, man willingly incurred in sin, and, therefore, became deserving of physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God. Man's only hope is redemption through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1: 26-31; 3: 1-7; Romans 5: 12-21)

SECTION D - THE SALVATION OF MAN

1. Conditions for Salvation:

We believe that man is saved by faith, by grace and by Jesus; This means that the grace of God has been manifested for the salvation of all men by the preaching of the Gospel through: faith in the sacrifice of Christ and repentance of their sins. Man is saved by the work of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by faith becomes the heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 2:11, Romans 5.1-2, Luke 24:47, Titus 3: 5-7)

2. The evidences of salvation:

We believe that the internal evidence of salvation in the believer is the direct testimony of the Holy Spirit - (Romans 8:16). The evidence for all men is a life of righteousness and fruits of holiness - (Ephesians 2:10,   1 Peter 1: 13-16)

SECTION E - BAPTISM IN THE WATERS

We believe in baptism by immersion in the waters and that it is a scriptural mandate for all those who have repented of their sins and have believed from the heart in Christ as their only and sufficient savior. That baptism is a symbolism of the cleanliness of the outer body in the waters as well as that of the interior. Through this act a declaration is made before the whole world that man as a person "died" together with Christ and together with him rose for a new life. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 10: 47-48, Romans 6: 4, Hebrews 10:22)

SECTION F - BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We firmly believe in the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, an investiture of power for the Christian life and service. We believe in speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit directs each person, as the evidence and sign of said baptism. All believers qualify to receive this promise but will have to seriously and earnestly look for it. This tremendous personal experience is different and subsequent to salvation. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1: 4, 8, 2: 4, 19: 4-6, 1 Corinthians 12: 1-31, Ephesians 5:18)

SECTION G - THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church. These gifts are supernatural abilities imparted by the Holy Spirit to the believers for the work of the ministry and the edification of the Church of God. The manifestation of the gifts must be regulated in the Church for edification, exhortation and consolation according to the biblical teaching. (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12: 6-8; 1 Corinthians 14)

SECTION H - THE TABLE OF THE LORD

We believe that the Lord Jesus commanded us to participate in the Lord's Supper, a commemoration and reminder of the passion and death of Christ on the cross of Calvary, and a proclamation of our faith in the prophecy announcing His Second Coming. It is a symbolic act to express our part in the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ and consists of the following elements: the bread and the fruit of the vine. (1 Corinthians 11: 23-26; 2 Peter 1: 4)

SECTION I - SANCTIFICATION

We believe that the will of God is the entire sanctification of all believers. The Holy Scriptures teach a life of holiness "without which no one will see the Lord". With the power of the Holy Spirit we will be able to obey the command: "Be holy because I am holy." Such sanctification implies a total separation of sin and worldliness, and a complete consecration to God that encompasses all areas of our being. Therefore, every believer must walk diligently and in obedience to the Word of God. (1 Thessalonians 4: 3, Hebrews 12: 4, 1 Peter 1: 15-16, 1 Thessalonians 5: 23-24, 1 John 2: 6, 2 Corinthians 7: 1, John 17:17)

SECTION J - THE CHURCH

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit. It has divine meetings in which it is filled with the Holy Spirit in order to fulfill its great commission. Every believer, born again, is an integral part of the General Assembly and the Church that is written in heaven. (Ephesians 1: 22-23; 2: 19-22; Hebrews 12:23)

SECTION K - THE MINISTRY

We believe that it is God who sovereignly calls the ministry and that being the irrevocable gifts and call, the church has no power to elect or appoint or revoke an appeal to any minister, which will be recognized and promoted according to the testimony of the Holy Spirit and according to the criterion of the spiritual authorities placed by God for the edification of the body of Christ and for the blessing of his work. (Ephesians 4: 11-16)

SECTION L - DIVINE HEALTH

We believe that the liberation of diseases is provided through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, and is a privilege for all believers. (Isaiah 53: 4-5, Matthew 8:16, 17, Mark 16: 17-18, James 5: 14-15)

SECTION M - THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

We believe that the second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the Church, and that this coming will be personal, corporeal, visible and premillennial. Christ will descend first in a cloud to raise up his Church composed of the dead in Christ who will be resurrected and the living believers who will be transformed. Then, the trials of the Tribulation will be unleashed on earth, and at the end of this period the Lord Jesus Christ will return with his saints to judge the world and establish his kingdom on earth. (Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17, 1 Corinthians 15: 51-52, Jude 14:15, Romans 8:23)

SECTION N - THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM OF JESUS

We believe that, at the end of the Great Tribulation, Jesus Christ will return to earth to establish a reign of peace and justice for a period of a thousand years. During that time Satan will be chained and Christ will reign with his saints on earth. In this period the promises and covenants of God with the people of Israel will be completed. (2 Thessalonians 1: 7, Revelation 19: 11-16, Romans 11: 25-27, Revelation 20: 1-6)

SECTION O - THE LAKE OF FIRE

We believe that, after the Millennium, the devil, his angels, and everyone who is not inscribed in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone where they will suffer eternal punishment, the second death. Revelation 19:20; 20: 10-15)

SECTION P - THE NEW EARTH AND THE NEW HEAVENS

We believe that, at the end of time, the present order of things will dissolve and the new heaven and the new earth where justice dwells will be created as the final state, where the righteous will live forever.         (2 Peter 3: 10-13; Revelation 21: 1)

SECTION Q - MARRIAGE

We believe that marriage is an institution created by God for the preservation of the race and happiness of the human being. This union that symbolizes the mystical union between Christ and his Church must be monogamous, heterosexual and indissoluble. We disapprove of the divorce, according to the Scripture, no matter what its cause and / or legal premises, except for the cause of fornication. (Matthew 5: 31-32; Mark 10: 1-12; 1 Corinthians 7:13, 15)

SECTION R - PROHIBITED MARRIAGES

We firmly believe, according to Scripture, that it is an abomination before God to marry same-sex couples.

Marrying couples of the same sex is against the doctrinal principles of the Church and is an anti-Biblical behaviour. Therefore, we repudiate any marital act that has to do with people of the same sex. No matter if any of the participants was of the same sex before requesting the service to get married.

(Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13; 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10)

SECTION S - THE TITHE

We believe that it is God's will that every believer separate ten percent of his income and bring it to the storehouse, which will be used for: the support of the Pastor, the promotion of God's work and for the expenses and utilities of the Church . (Matthew 10:10, Genesis 14:20, 28: 19-22, Malachi 3: 7-10, 1 Corinthians 9: 7-14).

ORDINANCES

The Christian ordinances are two in number, baptism and the Lord's Supper. They must be administered by the local Church, not as means of salvation, but as visible signs and seals of their reality.

SECTION A - BAPTISM IN THE WATERS

Baptism in the waters will be by immersion, whenever possible, and will be administered to all who have repented of their sins, who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of their soul, and who have clear evidence of his salvation and what it is to have it. For this reason, children who because of their condition have no sin or are unable to understand the act of baptism will not be baptized.

SECTION B - THE LORDS SUPPER / HOLY COMMUNION

The Supper will be served in each Church but its frequency will be decided at the discretion of the Pastor and according to the spiritual condition of the Church. The baptized believers who are in full communion with God and with the Church will participate in it (Luke 22: 19-20, 1 Corinthians 11: 23-26).
